A lovely stay 2 kilometers away from the town of Ommen and 1 kilometer from the Ommer forest. In the beautiful nature of Ommen and surroundings you can go hiking and cycling. For the sportsenthusiasts there is the possibility of canoeing, but also a whistleboat rental is one of the possibilities. In addition, there are two public swimmingpools in Ommen. An indoor and an outdoor pool. Both only a few kilometers (2 and 4) of the Vechtdalhouse.

This cozy cottage is situated on a small and quiet bungalow park; Juníperus. The livingroom has an open kitchen, there are two bedrooms and there is a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is equipped with a gascooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker and kettle. There is also a washing machine. The cozy living room has patiodoors leading to the south-facing garden. In good weather, you can barbecue outside on the barbecue. There is WiFi and if you want, you can also connect your laptop. The backyard is fenced and your pet is welcome!













Here you can breathe and enjoy all that the Vechtdal offers. If you bring your electric bikes, you can recharge them in the shed on the carport. There are beautiful trails through woods and waterways. At seven kilometers the sand drift is the sahara. Baron van Pallandt had this sand drifted around 1840 to reduce further spraying. A nice place to picnic when you are on the bike. But also towards Dalfsen you will pass nice places. You see storks, you can take the lock at Vilsteren, all special cycling trips from your fighting valley cottage.

Ommen itself is a pleasant town at the Vecht. In summer there are various activities with Ommer Bissingh, an event that takes place in July and August with markets, fairgrounds and all kinds of activities. In 1985, the National Tinnen Figures Museum was established in Ommen. After a renovation in 2006, the museum is considered one of the most beautiful tin figure museums in the world. The museum combines art and history. Also there is Ommen at the Pieterpad. At Laer estate is a deercamp with peacocks, deer and pigeons. This is a nice destination for a walk through the wooded area.
